The Thousand Yard Stare

I guess I need a new tube amp repair guy. Fooling around with speaker swaps cured the horrendous hum problem I had with my modded deluxe reverb. I should have guessed that after all those mods they wouldn't have stuck a $20 speaker in there for tone purposes. A/B next to each other the modded DRRI sounds absolutely fantastic with the Weber Alnico speaker. Still doing some A/B to figure out this new G12C/S in the stock DRRI. #gearhead
