First effort – Pineapple Poke Rum Cake. @thecourtneycrave suggested a pineapple poke cake after trying my rum cake and I envisioned my rum cake with pineapple chunks throughout. I'm going to let @honeycocoa be the judge on this version. It's fluffy and moist (I could sleep on it) but I'm not sure I liked having soaked the pineapple chunks in the rum. If I did it again I would try fresh chopped pineapple. Not too bad for a first effort I guess, I need to monkey with some proportions though. #rumcake #pinapplepokerumcake #boozycake #dotrythisathome #barbadosrum #doorlys
